My client is an exciting technology company revolutionising the video surveillance and physical security space. Their platform is one of the best products in the market and they are incredibly proud to be able to offer a service and product which is head and shoulders above the rest!
Due to expansion, they are looking for a Sales Executive to join their team on a permanent basis. This role could suit either an experienced Sales Exec with experience of the IP video surveillance / security space, or an experience installer (with the relevant industry knowledge) who is interested in moving into a sales role.
The basic salary is around £19,000, however, it’s expected that on target earnings for the first year would be at least £45,000 - £55,000, more for stronger candidates and increasing each year and with repeat business.
It’s vital that the successful sales executive has the relevant industry knowledge as well as existing contacts with security installers, as these will be your first sales.
We want self-starters who are hungry for high commission levels not yet realised within the industry. Our mission is to bring this product to the masses quickly and efficiently by ensuring the people we have in the field are consistent. Technical support is second to none and CRM knowledge a must. Any candidates that have prior knowledge of - Hubspot, Clickup, Notion would be advantages
Sales Executive (Security Industry) Duties:
- Manage systems integrators and installers to a revenue target selling on a direct basis
- Sales and account management - targeting new customers within a defined geographic territory as well as maintaining relationships.
- Performance will be measured against a range of given metrics including call rates, opportunities created (both in terms of size and quantity) and reporting tool usage.
- Ensuring the achievement of monthly and annual sales targets for the product portfolio.
- Promoting and increasing sales by developing and managing relationships with existing regional installation companies and distribution branches within a given territory.
- Developing clear, defined action plans for existing major installers and distributors and executing these objectives against an agreed timeline.
- Winning new business from our competitors by building relationships with their key customers
- Providing support for the customer including sales calls, sales training, product training and end user product demonstrations.
Ok, so over to you! Our perfect Sales Executive Will Have;
- Proven experience in sales and account management to distributor channels.
- Strong knowledge of the electronic security solutions field (i.e. access control, CCTV etc.).
- Extensive existing relationships with security installers
- Proven track record of growing and sustaining sales year on year
- This role could also suit an ambitious candidate with hands-on experience within the security industry who is looking to move into a sales role
